Zoe & Nathan ~ God's Own Junkyard wedding, London
Zoe & Nathan’s wedding was the last covid-postponed wedding that I shot last year and I was so happy to finally meet them in real life after exchanging so many emails! These guys have been together for well over a decade and it is so easy to tell that they are each other’s biggest cheerleader, best friend and soul mate.
Zoe is Greek so they wanted to incorporate some aspects of her culture into the wedding; they included the Stolisma in the morning, stefana ritual (crowns at the ceremony), as well as a money dance - it was so much fun to photograph! They've put so much thought into the wedding to ensure that their guests were very well fed, they had a sweet table, crosstown doughnuts as dessert (on top of a wedding cake!), a cheese spread and a pizza van. The cherry on the cake is that it’s all vegetarian/vegan!!!! I’m biased but vege food is the absolute best 😋
The big day took place at the most alternative and epic venue - God’s Own Junkyard which has been on my wishlist for the longest time. Zoe & Nathan, thank you for making my dream come true and for being such kind souls…what a joy it was to witness and capture your mesmerising love.
